B&B for Blackpool Illuminations

Hi

Does anyone know of a nice but cheap b&b in blackpool? Id love to take my 18mth old son to see the lights! I've been before but always ended up in some grotty dive, ive checked the travel inn & travel lodges but they are either too far away or fully booked.

Thanks

Opt for the ones higher in the list and you should be OK... although you'll of course get what you pay for.

Wandering round the streets of Blackpool last week, both central, south and north, it is simply a case of pot luck if you select somewhere "unseen or unrecommended". Some places shine with polish and appear spotless, whilst others positivly look uninhabitable. Some boast "from £18 B&b" whilst in the main one could expect to pay £20-£25 BB per night. Now, 18months ?. To be honest, given that age and given that your post suggests "you" and not "we", I would be tempted to wait another year. Blackpool is very busy, buses and trams are fairly full. At weekends and evenings both of these forms of transport sail by you as they are full. Distance between piers/funfair etc is no joke.If you are still considering going, I would wait for someone to post a child- friendly BB, which is central. Currently the lights are switched on about 8pm, is that too late for a 18mth ?
