this would probabaly fail based on your credit score - maybe worth getting hold of your report0

Why would reclaiming bank charges lead to problems with ones credit score?regularsaver1 wrote:this would probabaly fail based on your credit score - maybe worth getting hold of your report0 -
its not the reclaiming - it would be having them in the first place, unless A&L ammended the credit file at the same time?0

Perhaps, although the OP didn't give any indication of their frequency or when they occurred, so "probably fail" is a bit of a stretch.regularsaver1 wrote:it would be having them in the first place0 -
yeah possibly
but i remember having used to work in bank accounts that if we saw a charge, it was unlikely to go through - you never know though. and the credit files could be corrected possibly0 -
Flipping cheek, OP!
I don't think they will ever have you back. If, say, you hired a builder to build you a wall, paid him some money up front, and he legged it without building the wall - would you hire him to build you an extension 3 months later? Or would you only do that after 6 months, or a year? I hazard a guess that your answer is "never".
You have fundamental differences of opinion with A&L, i.e., they want to charge you for things that you think you should get for free. So why on earth would you want to go back?!0 -

The posters credit file may be ok, but the internal file with A&L will not be. Like someone said a couple if posts ago, I think the person is pushing their luck to not agree with charges, then wanting to take advantage of A&L again.0 -
Sure, A&L will not want to expose themselves to that risk again. It seems pretty likely that they will reject the application on that basis, but perhaps worth a try anyway.M_Thomson wrote:The posters credit file may be ok, but the internal file with A&L will not be.
