It's a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. If you don't have that then OpenOffice should do the job.0

XLS is an Excel Spreadsheet.
You need to install Excel (part of the Microsoft Office suite). If you don't have a copy (and don't want to buy one), you could use the free Excel Viewer, which just allows you to just see the file (but not edit or update it), or you could install Calc from the Open Office suite, which offers some compatibility with MS Office...0 -

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
If you're using Hotmail you can create/modify Office docs online with it.0
