Return to Work Credit - a weekly payment of £40 a week tax free for 52 weeks to help people moving off IB/ESA into work.
Mine came through quite quickly - literally a fortnight. Give them a ring.0 -
Shazza71 you don't say whether your husband's application has been processed or whether you've sent an application form off yet so it's hard to say at what stage your husband's claim may be at.
If your husband's application has been authorised and put into payment then it can take up to 15 working days to go into payment, you would have received a letter telling you that the application has been successful or not.
All questions regarding payments can be answered by the Shared Services team on 0845 602 8244 (Option 1)
A month is definitely too long either way, call your local Return to Work Credt team on Monday to see what has happened to the application as if it's received five weeks after your husband has started work it could be rejected as that is one of the items that is checked when processing an application.0 -
Thanx everyone,
Yes we have received a letter to say he is entitled to £40 pw. The letter is dated 20th July so maybe give them a few more days..
thanx
