Cant sign into Windows Live Messenger...

Just had PC repaired and it wont let me sign into Windows Live MSN. Keep getting the error message "80072efd contact list not available". What ever that means.

Yet I'm able to sign into an old version of MSN ok...

I think they (MSN) have issues.
Mine hasn't worked since about 10am this morning (same error).
It doesn't work using my Linux client either.

If it ever loads for you (took my pc about 2 minutes to load it) -

suggests something is broken at the back side of their environment.

hmmmm I did wonder why some of their pages were slow.

i've managed to sign into an old version of Windows MSN and my OH is sat next to me on their laptop logged into their Windows Live MSN
