For the third time natwest have charged me these fees for going a small amount over the overdraft (due to payments in taking longer than payments going out). I'm now losing patience and wondered if I can claim these fees back as I am struggling enough as it is without getting wacked with these charges.
Any ideas??

Probably not unless you can prove financial hardship ... and even then you are not guaranteed any refund.
Read the MSE guide to reclaiming bank charges

and the sticky on financial hardship online resources

Hi,
I have had the same thing happening also.
See 'nat-west charges' under forum
Again it happend it appears that the charges are debited at the last moment of the day
and do not appear on the front online statement screen until the next day when its to
late to transfer monies over.
very poor from NatWest/RBS0
