ICICI HiSave

I'm getting a little concerned about ICICI customer service. I opted for their HiSave account, 5 year fixed rate bond, and on 13th July they cashed my cheque for £25,000. Their site says that the next step is for them to email me my account and login details. I had no email, and my phone calls to them have proved fruitless. My latest contact resulted in the assurance that I would have an answer to my query within three working days - that was on Tuesday and so far, no email. Am I being unduly nervous, or do ICICI have a track record of delays in setting up new accounts? It doesn't help that I find them quite difficult to understand.

They can be a bit painful during the account set up process. You might tear your hair out for a week or so, but once it's all set up you can forget about it. They probably haven't stolen your £25k.
  • I am having terrible trouble with this Bank, I have had to complete direct debits for them to pay money into my account - Its 2 months and I still havent had any interest and Im suppose to get paid monthly! They are a nightmare! The interest they advertised isnt the interest I'll be getting either!
