    also could you find out if it was on the short list to be closed, when they had all those closures...you never know if they are thinking of doing more closures...

    If this was the case, where they wanted the post office part to close, could the shop/business survive without it?

    Thanks so much for all your replies. I think I will just sit tight for now and carry on being the paid help, there are sooo many things that people have mentioned that I hadn't even thought of. ;)
