Question for E.ON Rep.
On Energyhelpline it reads -
"Dual fuel direct debit customers receive a discount of 8% off their total annual bill. Save Online customers receive an extra discount of 18.9% off their total annual bill for managing their account online. The total discount is 26.9% off the total annual bill."
When do customers receive the 26.9% off their bill?

They are applied immediately month by month - your regular instalments will include the deductions. The naked unit prices per kWh listed do not include the discounts, the annual quotes given on comparison sites do include them.
But no discount is applied to your final bill when you switch supplier.0 -
Thanks for that Kim, I rang EDF to ask about the tariff they wrote about to me and the one on energyhelpline, they kept me waiting as agreed, then cut me off and did not ring back, so switched to E.ON via quidco and it was tracked within the hour.

Hi Fortyfoot
The total discount is taken off each quarterly bill. As Kim says, this is reflected in your monthly payments which are calculated taking the discount into account.
Kim's also correct about no discount on final bills if you change supplier. The only thing I would add is, if you complete the full term of the contract and then change supplier, all the discount relevant to the tariff ending is applied even if this falls within the final bill.
Hope this helps. Give me a shout if you need any more info as will be happy to help.
