Hmm, well... As you know, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. In Morrisons I happened upon a bag of 22 lemons reduced to 80p. Woohoo!, I thought. Lemon Curd. Only trouble being I had not budgeted for eggs, butter or sugar. But 22 lemons for 80p is a hard thing to pass up, so I got them - and the eggs, butter and sugar, and I'm just about to get cracking on the lemon curd. Tea is in the oven and smelling good, (Onion Bacon & Potato Hotpot), and I may also bake a sandwich cake to put some lemon curd in! I love Wednesdays!newleaf wrote:Wednesday is my usual day for the weekly Morrisons shop. I still have to go, because I take mum to do hers at the same time but, as we're going away on Friday, I won't need to get much. I've set a budget of £10 and hopefully I won't spend all of it.

Day off today and I even managed a whole trip around town with the parents without spending a single penny!
Actually am £20 up on the day as darling Dad gave us £20 towards our holiday fund
Also banked lots of change bags today so feeling pretty happy. Started on new craft project which is technically only costing me time as it's all stuff I've paid for previously! But if I had to hazard a guess I would say it'll work out at about 27p!
Am hopefully listing on ebay later on tonight too, so that'll be another 5 lots going on. Hopefully will make me near on £40 when theyre all done. Then paypal will be over £50 and I can transfer for free

Nothing so far... Possibly as much as £5 tonight for bouncing though  Which would make £15 in 3 days
And I drove to work today

I've spent 80p on a bag of maltesers and a snicker from work, really cross with myself because dont normally take any money with me so I cant be tempted, but had put some change in my bag yesterday as was out on a visit and it was just in case I needed anything, and I managed not to spend a penny. But today was really craving for some chocolate and there it was and now its gone!!!Debt Free Nerd 1700
