RBS Shafting me

I have a £500 overdraft with RBS - it was at about £480 and i was about to pay it off - but then they start the £38 charges - and in the past 6 days they've added £186.16 of charges

Also - they have started to charge ME interest for the amount over my OD limit - £6.18 to be exact ( taken in 1 go)

Now when i am thousands of pounds in the black i do not charge them interest - so what can i do?

One things for sure - they are getting a piece of my mind when they open today

Erm - find a bank where you can charge them interest? For instance you can get 6.1%* with A&L.

  • I feel for you! They've just done the same to me except mine's a graduate account and its meant to be 0%. They're now trying to add more charges on.

Grrrr. Another bank which have screwed up an account of mine and then tried to blame me for it.

And not just by what is shown on your statements. Did you allow ample time for payments in to clear before drawing against them?
  • Yeah there must have been a reason for this to happen
