    Hi everyone and thanks for all your reples and help. Firstly sorry for the late response to you all - being trying to sort everything out. Doesn't look like I cn claim anything as he was insured and it will cover the cost of the funeral. Luckily the funeral director doesn't require an upfront deposit - if anything I should get a discount - I've already used them for my mums and brothers funerals in the last 2 years! So as someone asked I am the next of kin, theres no-one else left except me....
