Best way to preserve chillies

Just string them up using a good old fashioned needle and cotton thread, and hang in the airing cupboard. Leave the needle on and as later chillis are ready, you can add them on.
Or, google Nigella's Chilli Jam and make that. Unbelievably lovely.0 -

My chilli plant looks like it could produce more than we can use. What is the best way for me to preserve or dry them.

I just came here to ask the same question.:D
I have four plants (two Jalapenos, a Cayenne and a Scotch Bonnet)and they look like producing about 15-20 chillis each.

Whack them in the freezer, freeze on a baking tray sperated first and then once frozen out them all in a pot. You can use them straight from the frozen and they cut well too - this is what I did last year and have onyl just used up my last one the other week, am awaiting this years chillies to come along now:-)0
