Hi All,
Sorry to hijack a thread....but my issue is pretty similar and thought you may be able to help!
I currently own a flat, which I have accepted an offer on and will be moving soon into a house. Of which I will be the sole owner.
At the moment my boyfriend stays with me but pays no rent (he is in debt and trying to get out of it). However in the new home he will pay me rent.
I too would like some form of agreement drawn up, particularly as I know my boyfriend is in debt I would not like my home to be seen as his collatoral.
Anyway I was wondering if someone could help me with what sort of agreement I would need.
Would a normal rent agreement (as though he were a stranger) be ok, or do I need a different agreement if I am in a relationship with him?
Also money is tight (as it always is when you move!) so any tips/advice on where I can get an arrangement drawn up would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Sarah0
