Still no word on mine either so on thursday filled in online application to see what they would offer and i was given cash card+ with new sort code and account no. (these were on letter received asking for my signature). Am hoping but not expecting that because they have given me new account they may not bother touching my old account and i have both cash card and cash card+ as i don't think i could hold 2 cash card+'s!!!!!

I opened a Nationwide Flex account recently and had just the normal cashcard come through, yet when my original account opening documents came through it said Cash Card Plus and also on the internet when I initially applied so I rang Nationwide yesturday and they told me that the Visa cards are being sent out between now and mid August. I asked would my card be replaced automatically even though I've only just received it, and he said yes so we'll see!!

With the changes to the foreign charges from November, and now that the full FlexAccount has begun phasing out the cheque guarantee facility - there is very little difference between the accounts.

  • Good news as when I phoned in June they said there was still a delay.

I have one! Basically it looks like just the same design as cash card, but with the visa logo on the top right corner with the security feature back of the card. Do you want me to post a picture of the card?

So is yours part of the replacement program or a new account?
