Sorry can i just ask, when you put the code on, are the prices supposed to go to zero? It said code was accepted, but still asking me to pay £9.94 :

It's still asking me to pay so don't understand? :S

Hi I aready have an account with them so set one up for sister at her place. It also said that the code was accepted but the price did not go to zero...on phoning customer services was told that as it was not item specific the £10 will come off on the invoice balance.
I have gone ahead and placed the order. hopefully a phone call shuold fix it if it doesn't go through.

hi not sure this time but when I was lured to Milk and More online it was with a £5 free shop I ordered my regular milk and the amount came off the invoice. I would def give the cs a call to confirm as though they are known for mess ups they do put on credits aswell.

Wait, did you have to enter the card details for it though? Sorry, i don't actually understand. I mean, when does the invoice balance show up?

You have to set up automatic payments eg dd. /Though if balance is zero no money is taken. Invoice will be available to view on line and you would get email to let you know it is ready... really is easy freebie -though some milk&more customers don't like the service(same here last week delivery came at 11.40am.) so not really convienient for all.

I didn't get my actimil today so I phoned them up and had a good ol' conversational.

I have 3 accounts on milkandmore. The 3rd I made at the weekend to get the free £10 shopping. The terms do not state you can only have 1 account. so I phoned telling them about the delivery that didn't arrive and apparently the system tries to merge accounts or cancels them to make things easier, so my actimil order must have been canceled. As he pretty much admitted that I was right, he said he'll pass my details on to someone who can try and sort it out. Hopefully I'll receive my actimil on Wednesday. I should also be getting my £10 worth of shopping.

Also, the guy confirmed that the £10 shopping WON'T go to £0.00 until its invoiced. So even if it says you need to pay £9.xx, as long as you have a direct debit set up you won't be charged.

So feel free to make new accounts, take advantage of offers and get stuff for free until they update their terms. All you need is a separate email address for each account.

  • just ordered with a new account, it didn't go to 0.00 so I'll have to see what happens when the invoice comes

ARRRRRGHHH I just deleted the order to re-do it because I realised I hadn't signed up to direct debit and it now won't let me use the code as I've used it before. I guess I'll have to sign up again with a different email address.

I emailed them and this is what they said to me:

"I have also investigated why the promotion code from the Telegraph failed to work for you. In the terms and conditions of the offer it does state that you would need to set up a regular payment method to be eligible, e.g. a credit/debit card, or set up a direct debit to enable monthly invoicing. The offer, therefore, does not apply to a one-off transaction. "
