  • I was pleased with free download, but i could hardly hear it. I turned all my volumes up full, but made no difference, has anybody else had this problem?:T

I might have felt relaxed if it hadn't been for the woman's voice over the top the whole way through!!! Not my idea of a relaxing mp3 with her babbling away in my ear.

But I suppose it could work for some people. . .

I found the same thing - I thought the file hadn't downloaded properly to start with because I couldn't hear anything. I had to crank my PC volume to the max to hear her. And she didn't have a particularly relaxing voice, in my opinion... :(

We tried one for my niece a few years ago (it was a tape so a good few years ago) by Glenn Harold it was for Fear of Flying but I like this female voice.
When I was having some CBT last year the therapist recommended buying a particular Glenn Harold CD so, unlike some (Paul McKenna?), he is at least respected by those in psychiatric medicine

I downloaded this free mp3 and not yet heard the end of it! I haven't as yet slept through the whole night after using it but certainly sleep longer.

  • Just wanted to say thank you to the OP - I downloaded it yesterday, and listened to it last night. It was lovely and relaxing, and I had no problems with the volume. Will definitely try it again!

    What an odd comment
Without a voice, this wouldn't be hypnosis.

I downloaded it again yesterday and it's a different one which was louder this time. Great for free.

If you download Audacity (which is free), load the mp3, go to Effects and select Normalize, then save the mp3, it should play normally on your mp3 player/pc.
