NTL user -which cheap phone provider

Can someone recommend a landline phone provider as an overide to NTL calls during the daytime. I have used the CallChecker service but it is ambiguous as to exactly which service is applicable to an NTL user and how much NTL may charge.

(Note I don't have the option of switching to an overall cheaper package /service such as TalkTalk)

For Peak Rate Geographical Calls http://www.call1899.co.uk/mobilerates.php

For Mobile/NGN/Intl Calls http://www.call18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php

Access to both is via a Freephone Number so you dont pay NTL nowt. You just pay 1899/18185 connection fee,s and the cost of calls.
