This is a techie one.
Their ISP is Aol. It's set up through a router to avoid using that software.
They have their own 3rd party domain and their own email addresses, accessed through Outlook Express. The domain provider provides the SMTP facilities.
Works on every other ISP, but with Aol their are major problems sending emails. I believe it's to do with port 25. ?587?
Anybody know what port I should use? Anything else I need to change? SPA?
Any help greatly appreciated.

AOL probably block port 25 to stop people sending through other mail servers.
Have you tried relaying through AOL mail servers?0 -
I believe the answer is to use port 2525 for SMTP. I'll confirm later.0

I have an address for what may be a possible aol server for 3rd party email "smtp.mail.aol.com". Not hopeful but I'll try this later as well. Again I'll respond with outcome.0 -
With Thunderbird you need you use 587 for outgoing mail, i presume it would be the same with outlook. The server setting is smtp.aol.comSometimes i surprise myself by being right.0
