Also is the glimmersticks eyeliner worth buying. I usually buy the Clinique quick liner which is a twist up pencil but its nearly £15 now so I am wondering if the Avon one will do as good a job for less money. I like twist up pencils as I don't have to sharpen them :)

I don't wear much eyeliner these days, and I used to use Maybelline as I have sensitive eyes. However I have had customers buy the glimmersticks, with no complaints.

But Avon have a 90 day guarantee on their products. If you are not happy for any reason, you can return for a full refund. So why not give them a go? You won't lose out, if you are happy with them, you have found an effective, great product, cheaper, if not, you get your money back.

Arabian Glow can be used all over, you can use a moistened applicator and use it as eyeshadow or lipstick if you're the right colouring. I really like it and always have one.
You can use it along the jawline to give a good outline, don't use too much though.
Just practise and you'll get the hang of it :)

I'm a big fan of the Arabian glow bronzer pearls, I've used them for years. I use a large blusher brush to apply them, after I've cleansed and moisturised ( I never use foundation underneath). It gives your face a healthy glow and people often comment that I look well so I'd recommend them, in fact I bought some from Avon last month.:):)

    Sorry, another 'Avon lady' here.....

Also a great supporter of the Bronzing Pearls. Yes, they come with a 'sponge' but I actually thought it was more for packaging i.e. to keep the pearls in place rather than for application. Brush is definitely better - sponge seems 'too solid'.

I don't use a foundation (find them too heavy) but use the Solutions Radiance tinted moisturiser with SPF20 (on offer in C12 @ £3.25 :T) - the two just seem to complement each other really well.
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))

Can I ask could you use them if you have pale skin? Or are they for people with a bit of tan?

Hi, it’s the bronzing powder that comes with a sponge for application I think, the pearls will come with the sponge just for keeping in the lid.

I want to use it instead of a foundation as long as it doesn’t look too much all over my face J
  • I've used the bronzing pearls for years, the only draw back is they tend to get stuck up inside your blusher brush so make sure you give a good tap, otherwise they end up all over your carpet. Terracotta on a cream carpet - not great, I've also found them in my slippers and vaious bags as they ping all over the place. I'd highly recommend them though

belfastgirl, anyone can use them :) that is what is so good about them. They give you a nice glow no matter what your skin tone.

Citygirl - just practice on your face until you are happy with the look before you go out. And it won't look too much. Promise you.
