    there are always so many doubters.

    do your own research, if you are happy the investment is right for you, then go for it.

    you wont make any progress if you listen to everyone else ............ who always seem to have their own expert opinion.

    One thing that concerns me is in your sig it states you are pregnant. I think you are going to be too busy with your baby to want to be worrying about renovating a house, not to mention the fact that I presume you will be on maternity leave, so will not be on full pay? Your friend isn't buying it because she is pregnant, and she is experienced in buying and renovating properties.
