How much have you spent today, Tuesday 12th September?

I can't see the usual spending thread, so I'm starting it today because I haven't spent anything and I'm really pleased! I have been postponing getting money out of the bank for 2 days because I know once I have it in my purse it will disappear. At least it's earning some interest where it is!
Hope you have all had a successful low spending day too?

great minds think alike newleaf - I was just searching through to see if there was a thread for today & was about to start one if I couldn't see one!! I've spent £4.90 on a return ticket into central London on the Tube. (so expensive!! but I got a really nice free lunch in return. :T well, I guess this illustrates the principle that there's no such thing as a free lunch tho ...)0

I've spent £4.40 on lunch  still can't get into the habit of preparing something to take into work from mum's kitchen cupboards!
I also spent £4 having my car handwashed as a bird had done a funny coloured mess all over the bonnet
However I sold some things on eBay and Amazon that I had to post... the postage was £5.20, but I charged/was given by Amazon £11.96, so I've gained £6.76!! :j :j

I haven't spent anything today.
I took lunch into work with me. I went to a gym class but I'd paid for a block booking in advance to save 25% on the cost. We had our evening meal from things in the freezer/cupboards.

Just spotted the thread, and was feeling pretty pleased with myself - haven't spend any money for 4 days and only £10 last week
HOWEVER, I am in the process of buying a garage, so I have just written a cheque for £10521.04, which probably makes me the worst spender today!"To be is to do" - Socrates.
