P & L shaped shower baths & screens - leaking?

I'm currently doing up my bathroom, and deciding what shower-bath to get.
I've seen a P-shaped shower bath in Wickes, with a screen that slides right around:

This looks great, and it appears that it will not leak at all.
It's expensive though - over £700 all in for bath and screen.
My question is - How good are "normal" p-shaped shower bath / screens - will it leak and go all over the floor?
What about L-Shaped baths? and their respective screens....
