I have just been asked a question about sending an item to a different address than the one registered with paypal.
Basically I have an item that has a buy now of £90, in my terms it says I will only send to the paypal users confirmed address but the buyer wants to buy this as a present and to send it his sons address which just happens to be down the road.
Now I could send it or deliver it but whats to say the buyer tells paypal they didnt get it even though I did what they asked.
Best to leave alone or what do you think?
thanks

I would reply saying sorry but I can only post the item to the address stated on PayPal.
If the buyer were to start a PayPal dispute you would automatically lose as you wouldn't be able to provide tracking information confirming you posted it to the buyer stated on PayPal.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

just as I thought. I also have a nochex account so have asked the buyer to pay via them if he still wants item.
thanks0 -
You could always take somebody with you and have them take a picture on their phone of you handing over the item.
You would then have undeniable proof of a delivery and receipt of the product.0 -

not even worth the hassle, they may not be photogenic0 -
DONT post to any address other than the address registered to the paypal account
they want another address, simple, pay using something else..............
to use paypal you MUST provide a tracking number, in this case, ONLY special delivery will cover you for the parcelmoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Nice idea. Except PayPal are unlikely to care. Even if you have a tracking number and signature they sometimes vote against you. You do not even get a chance to give other proof.:wall:0
