I can't believe how quickly this week has gone!
For me next week it will be...
Monday - pasta in a tomato sauce with garlic bread
Tuesday - chicken and peppers in chilli sauce with cous cous
Wednesday - scampi with chips and peas
Thursday - chickpea, spinach and tomatoes with rice
Friday - sausage and bean stew
Saturday - [STRIKE]TBC[/STRIKE] made tuna fishcakes and had them with peas and chilli mayonnaise
Sunday - going out for lunch - had a delicious open chicken pie with leeks and bacon, peas and chips. Mmm!
My grandma is visiting next weekend [STRIKE]and I know my dad is planning a BBQ, but I don't know which day, [/STRIKE]so Saturday [STRIKE]and Sunday[/STRIKE] will need confirming nearer the time. BBQ cancelled, we're going out for lunch on Sunday instead. Still not sure what i'll do on Saturday.

Hi everyone,
I couldn't find a thread for this week yet but please merge me if I'm wrong
The plan here is:
Mo: Spinach and ricotta gnocchi with ham and mushrooms (economy gastronomy recipe-dumplings in freezer)
Tu: OH cook something, or slow cooked beef ragu with pappardelle, salad and garlic bread
We: herb crusted fish, with new potatoes, broccoli and carrots
Th: Chilli with rice
Fr:southern baked chicken, corn on the cob, coleslaw and chips
Sa: OH is working, so probably chickpea stew for me, he will have freezer ready meals (home made)
Su: again OH working, I will make a coq au vin for freezer, omelette for dinner and he will have freezer ready meals
Looking forward to hearing everyones ideas for the week0 -

Scary, isn't it? How can it possibly be the end of another week already?
My plan for this week is nearly all stuff from the freezer, which might work out well as things are a bit up in the air at the moment and I don't know when / if I'll be at home. If I am, I'll have meals all planned, though, which I guess is the point.
I've got:
Friday - probably out, if not it'll be a sarnie of some kind (possibly sausages)
Saturday - roast veg, feta and pesto lasagne
Sunday - spicy bean wraps
Monday - beef and veg curry and rice
Tuesday - prawns and courgette in sweet chilli sauce with coconut rice and beans
Wednesday - meatball and aubergine tagine with garlic flatbread
Thursday - pasta with bacon and egg sauce
Have a tasty week, everyone.Back after a very long break!0 -

HI all,
I so need to meal plan. Been eating out far, far too much. Right meal plan in no particular order:
Hotdogs with onions (with lovely baker's fresh hot dog rolls)
Soup and a sandwich (or garlic bread)
Jacket potato and cheese or coleslaw
Parboiled new potatoes which are fried with chilli flakes (saute pots) with fried egg, beans and toast
Steak with mushrooms and rest of the saute pots
A convenience meal or two to at least help me stay away from takeaways etc
Can you tell I'm skint.....Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
