Just feel so sorry for myself at the moment.

All_hours; I recently had a large amount of dental work done, so he thinks that's what's caused it. The joint kinda 'pops' out too much, and clicks like crazy. I've been started on a nightguard, to see if I'm clenching/bruxing and aggrivating it...we shall see :D

It's amazing how common this problem (abscess) is, I've heard so many people that have come out of the woodwork, and said they'd suffered from it. And there are even more who were too embarresed to see the doctor...I say just go and drop em ;)

Hi Laurajayne, my bf recently went too so I know how you're feeling. Suffered from similar jaw problems as you a number of years ago so know the awful pain you are going through with that too. PM me if you fancy a chat.

  • Bluewater have alot of sales on ATM, so you may be able to buy a few small treats.

Have you been sent any John Lewis small brochures over the past few days as there is a voucher in the back for 2 people to have a free coffee or tea at the coffee shop. I have one here if you would like it:confused: Nearly threw it away, but my DD opened it and said, but OH got one too.

Boots-Try to maximise your points when spending in there. Go to the advantage card machine first and see what your persoanl offers are ATM, you may be able to get some freebie stuff. Did this a few weeks back and received a voucher for a free pack of wipes and cost nought!

Dont worry about the ex! Let someone else have him...you deserve better than that!

Have a good time and PM me.

  • Well...you'd be proud of me :D

I spent almost nothing...bought a book, and went halves on some craft stuff for mine and mum's Christmas cards. Had a free makeover from Benefit ;)

  • Well done you. So much better to give yourself "permission to spend" and then decide not to.

Just a thought - have you had a look around to see if there is anything you can sell because of the break up such as books, CDs or DVDs which will remind you of the ex? You could put the proceeds towards your debt as well as ridding yourself of reminders of the *******
  • my hubby had one of them (perianal abscess to put it politely) and I had to change the dressing at weekends when the District Nurse didn't come - it's a true test of love!

you're well rid although that doesn't help - have a little spend (but only a teensy one!)
  • Wow- well done for the cheap spend. I agree with the others that you're well shot of the boyfriend hun. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
