BA CC v Tesco CC for BA Airmiles

I've been trying to work out the differences in earning BA airmiles between spending on Tesco Credit Card (mastercard) and British Airways Credit Card (AMEX).
This is what I've worked out,
250 Tesco clubcard points make 600 BA miles, and 1 clubcard point comes from ever £4 spent on Tesco credit card. So in other words £4 x 250 = £1000 and 600 BA airmiles.
But on the Amex BA card £1000 is 1000 airmiles, So per £ spent Amex generates more BA Airmiles.
If you spend that £1000 at Tesco on your Tesco Credit card you'll get points from the shopping in store. So after £1000 spent at Tesco you'll earn 1000 + 250 clubcard points and thus 3000 airmiles.
But if you spent that money on your Amex at Tesco you'd get 1000 clubcard points which is 2400 airmiles plus £1000 or 1000 airmiles which equals 3400 BA airmiles.
Please can someone tell my sums wrong or if there is another way of spending on a credit card that creates more BA Airmiles

Don't forget if you have the premium BA card you'll be earning 1.5 miles per £. I really want to apply for one now but i'm waiting for my credit file to update with my settled loans and credit cards that i cleared this week.0
