Hope its not too late to join in but I'm going to try the £10 a day challenge for August :-)

Got 4 tubs and 5 bin bags of clothes to sort through after moving house so fingers crossed that helps! I'm signed up to enough shifts at my second job to get about £180 between now and the end of August so I'll stick to doing the whole 31 days of August and £310 to make - that leaves me roughly £130 so £10 a day :rotfl:

Think I shall go over my shopping receipts and see where I saved money the past two weeks!

Thanks once again CatherineMM for the gold idea. I sorted out all the stuff I don't need and broken bits and pieces I had. I decided to use the MSE recommendation of Hattan Garden Metals. Couldn't be simpler. And you won't believe that I made a whooping £620 pounds. I had load of broken earings and old bits of chain from years back so I'm laughing all the way to the bank. The money goes straight into the new sofa fund. I think the total is now £731.25 - not sure what Purpleroses will think about it. But I think it should be ok. :j

QUOTE=Fruittea;35729397]Hello again. Forgot to say that's £110.25 for me so far. Also thanks the CatherineMM who has inspired me to take a look at all the old broken gold I have - I spent the morning sorting it all out. Will post with any results but things are looking up.[/QUOTE]

Things going very slowly with just another 30p to add today from surveys.

Have got some stuff on ebay that finishes this weekend though, so hopefully that'll mean a few more pounds to add to the total.
