Thanks, looking through there is a few on there I am sure are still on the free postage if you can't send eblueys you can get the normal bluey ones from the post office. DPs Mam is based with OP Telic and sure doesn't pay to send things up to a certain weight. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
This is a brilliant thing to do.
My boyfriend worked in a NAAFI shop in Iraq in Op Telic 4 and he often would pass his letters from me round to friends who never got mail (i didn't mind as some of these lads had had no contact with Britain for anything up to 9 months - don't know what they made of my inane ramblings though)
Well done to everyone who has written. And don't worry if you've not got a reply yet, i know when my other half was out in Theatre he very often couldn't use a computer or phone for days due to attacks, having to go on patrol and what not. so don't panicLurker extraordinaire :cool:0 -

This is a great idea and I'm quite sure all the lads and lasses do appreicate what you are doing.
If any of you want to get any info on the Army RAF & Navy here are some websites to look at, they are all unofficial but they are better than the real ones because they are writtien by people in the forces and its good for finding out what is going on.
Just be aware that some of the humuor is a lot stronger than normal civvy's, because us in the forces see some grim things and do a lot of dangerous things our senses of humour is a lot more tolerant than normal people. Also SARCASM (lowest form of wit but most funniest) is VERY prevalent in the forces - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Not wanting to detract from the original Post but this is a good site where you can post messages and get penpals too
