Hi Guys
My friend and i where talking and we where wondering if anyone had ever used this company

I know that everyone says these companies are all scam as they change the purchase price at the last minute but as we are in Scotland and when an offer is accepted that is viewed as a legally binding contract, would they be able to do that?

We don't know - the company on the other thread hasn't been named. It's an example of what can occur with these companies."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

The offer letter forms part of the contract. Your solicitor will expect this company to make their offer in Scottish Legal Form, and will reject it if it's not.
The amount to be paid CAN be renegotiated from the price in the offer letter prior to the conclusion of missives, but this conclusion is typically expected well in advance of settlement, or date of entry. Once your solicitor concludes missives at an agreed price, that's it set in stone, and the buyers leave themselves open to legal penalty if they default.
If you keep on top of your solicitor, and your solicitor keeps on top of the buyer's solicitor for an early conclusion of missives, I'd say you're less likely to have problems than the folks in England & Wales - but I'd recommend you find a good, reliable property solicitor.
I'll bet if you call this company and tell them you're in Scotland, that they lose interest in you very quickly.......0
