Laminate flooring glue? Underlay?

we are putting down some quick step in our kitchen soon, had a couple of questions. It's going on a brand new screed that has a double layer of DPM and insulation underneath, so nothing is getting through that. Am I right in thinking that fibreboard is the best thing to lay the boards on? Stuff like this http://www.wickes.co.uk/Fibreboard-Underlay/invt/201508
Secondly, I keep reading about people using glue on the boards - is there any benefit? The boards I'm getting click together, so surely that would negate the need to glue? Or is it a way of making the floor slightly more water resistant?

Hi, my wooden flooring was lock together and it went straight on top of the concrete base with damp-proof underlay in between. No need to glue to boards at all.
I bought mine from this company, and they have a really good FAQ page that tells you all the different types of flooring, the best way to prepare for them, how to lay them, which require glue, which underlay, etc, etc. AND, they were the cheapest out there.

(hoping that posts ok, never tried to post a link before)
Hope it helps. It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.
