    Hi there

I am hopeless at that sort of thing and may mess up, but what you could do otherwise is try to download from the actual FOS website, you will find this at the bottom of the page on the FOS site, or if you ring them, they will send you one through the post with a ref number.;)

    Good luck.

Download OpenOffice free, install it and it will then be able to open the Word file for you.

You will also be able to open Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint presentations.

Bear in mind that you need to complain to the firm concerned first, though.

I take it you mean the FOS questionniare to send to the business to make a reclaim and not the actual FOS complaints form Carriel?

These FOS questionnaires are pretty new, and instead of template letters to make a reclaim, the FOS have issued these questionnaires for the purpose of making a reclaim to the business who sold you the policy, giving them a timescale of approx 8 weeks, sometimes they do request for longer time.

The the FOS complaint forms are separate, and to use if you do not receive a favourable response, you therefore complete these ones to send to the FOS.;)

  • The problem with using openoffice is that the FOS complaints form doesn't seem to open properly, nor can one fill it in without printing it off.
We don't have a printer, or access to one, and would rather email them the completed form.
So, re-iterating the original request, anyone have a non-locked/non-read only copy of the complaints form?
