If your fathers registers on the forum from your connection using his account details he will be able to register.

TT customers dont have to be connecting from home to register on the forum, just using a valid and active account number and telephone number.

Heinz - To address why we have to refer customers to our forum in such cases as this is due to Data Protection Act. Due to the nefarious activities of certain ISP's on the MSE forum attempting to solicit sales, the facility for any company representatives to send Private Messages has been removed by Martin (understandably and agreeably so) to prevent this occurring in the future. TT did not condone or ever use PM's to solicit sales, but rather to exchange personal details to support customers without referral elsewhere. unfortunately due to these actions we regrettably can no longer provide full support via the MSE forum

As such in order for us to provide support on an issue which requires account investigation we have to refer customer to our forum. THis ensures the protection of their personal information by compliance with the Data Protection Act. As we cannot safely, securely and privately exchange personal information via the MSE site, due to actions beyond TT's control, this si the only way in which we can continue to provide help at the point we need to access individual customers accounts.

As generic advice however I have given details on how the OP can get the Account Holder registered on the forum so we can support this issue.

I only have one father and he lives more than 300 miles away !!

Hi matt,I have amended my comment to reflect the singular nature of your father, this was just a typo.In terms of where your father lives I was not suggesting he uses your TT connection so his proximity to yourself should not bear relevance, This can be done via any alternative internet connection e.g. Library etc.We cannot provide account specific support via the MSE site as we cannot exchange personal details. In order for the Online Community Team to provide support on this issue we require the account holder to register on the forum so we can complete the relevant security checks and access the account.RegardsM:)
