Is this a new business you have recently started, or are you really that unknowledgeable of the trade you are in?

some people have suggested to me that i should go and remove the parts off of the vehicle, I repeatedly rand the taxi company regarding payment and was fobbed off with excuses, then one time i was told to F *** off, to never to contact him again , and to stop harrassing them, any more calls and he would go to the police..
I have an appointment with a solicitor and I am going to a meeting tonight with the FSB tonight.relynutz says it all

Let him go to the Police, I'm certain they won't be interested.

do you have an 'interest added' for late payment of invoice? By pointing this out to them in a letter sent with an invoice of outstanding debt, maybe it would help motivate them?0

See what your solicitor says (and clarify if any costs). If you feel comfortable doing so I would suggest a letter pointing out that the debt is overdue and that if money not received within (say) 7 days then formal action will be taken (send proof of posting). Visit the site the government site - moneyclaim.gov.uk and pursue via county court - you can add statutory interest at 8% from payment due date + court fees. Check who the defendants are (eg if company is limited then they are the defendant). Because you have been reasonable they have interpreted this as a signof weakness and hope that you go away.
In future, add a comment to all invoices saying that you reserve the right to charge interest on all unauthorised delays and that legal title remains yours until settlement made.0 -
i also tried ringing yesterday ahead of my solicitors appt and he just put the phone down on me.
I will ammend my invoices tomorrow to state interest added for late payment too.relynutz says it all
