Hi there, hope someone can give me some advice.
Because of work going on in our kitchen, the freezer had to be temporaily moved across to the other side of the room.
Since this was done, it doesn't seem to have been working properly. The green light indicating that power is going to it hasn't come on, but if the fast freeze switch is pressed then the fast freeze light comes on and all the appropirate noises can be heard.
It was moved in an upright position just a short way across the room. We have had it for 7 years, and it has always worked well up to now.

If you move a fridge or freezer you are supposed to not switch it on again for anything from 6 hours to 24 hours. Maybe the bulb on the green power switch bulb has gone .0

Yes, we realised that, but, if there was a problem then surely the fast freeze function wouldn't work?0

I know this seems like a daft question but ... are the contents remaining frozen? If yes, then it's working, but the light has failed. If no, it's broken.
If it seems like they are remaining frozen, then buy a freezer thermometer (less than a fiver) to check it's in the safe range.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -
Thanks everyone - update - the freezer is now whirring away normally, without the green light being on - guess the bulb on the green light has gone. Worrying about nothing - as usual!0
