    Afternoon all!

Earliest I've been on all week, where are the days going!?!?

    Today I have/will:

Caught up with work colleague also on MAT leave using works phone, meaning they will pay ;)
Took 2 dresses back to Next that I bought in the sale and decided after I would never wear them
Bought Monsoon dress for work in sale 75% off :D
Bought half price duvet cover in sale
Tea from freezer - chilli made from turkey mince so very WW friendly too
    DD in re-usables
Sort through food magazines and tear out recipes
Order clubcard vouchers for trip to holland via Eurotunnel - only 32.50 worth of vouchers for 3 of us and the car!
ordered magazine subscription for DH with clubcard vouchers too
write list of presents/ cards for rest of year and possibly christmas  as want to be organised before I go back to work at end of sept and already have several presents in stash to use and don't want to double buy
Contact builders about work at other house - not cheap at all, but, a necessity  This is potentially going to put a serious dent in our DFW'ness but it cant be avoided. Only difference here is that before I would have been like, oh well, now I'm going, how quickly can I pay it off and what can we sell to raise money to do it sooner!!!

Think that's about it for me folks, have a good day everyone - and becareful of those cats - big or small ;)

Afternoon All...some of you seem to be in good cheer - not much of a cheap day...went to look at wedding dresses, obviously the ones that are the best are more expensive but Bridgewater seems to be 100s cheaper than Bristol! Afetr 3 hours of trying dresses on we were feeling very weary so had to have some lunch......then made the mistake of popping into the bakery ooooopppss!

Tomorrow will be better - going to use up my boots vouchers and buy uo all the shampoo and conditoner i can! But last night went to dinner with friends with £10 for 2 courses each vouchers..that was nice to get out :)

Must finish sorting stiff for carboot and keeping fingers crossed stuf sells on ebay!

Smile everyone even if its a tough day
been away for a while..need to get on financial track!
 debts.....Post Grad Student Loan, Northern Rock Loan, Egg CC, Halifax CC, A&L CC, A&L overdraft
Allotment plot holder since Feb 2008 :j

    Hi.

We are going to Wales (Pembrokeshire) in a touring caravan we have rented. I cant wait.

I'm from South Wales - good choice!
In fact OH and I are going to Pembrokeshire ourselves for a few days in August - we live in Manchester and he's English as has never been to Wales apart from my mum's house near Cardiff!
Have a good time! Hope the weather is good for you.

    Morning all!
Still couldn't see a thread on the go so started one off - maybe the double thread yesterday has put someone off starting one?

Today I'll be taking my sis to the museum for something free to do. Apparently there's free disabled parking outside too so hopefully it'll be a LSD if not a NSD.

    • Walk dog for free exercise -done x3
    • Go to museum for free done
    • All food from stores - had lunch out at the princely sum of £5
    • Check banks -done
    • Get OH to give me his half of the fridge money now have it!
    • Mow lawn if the rain stops - couldn't be bothered as it was spotting to rain
    • Write shopping list for tomorrow - trying to stick to £30 budget this week next job
    • Clean patio door windows nope!
    • Phone pub restaturant to book table for Saturday for the mum and mum in law visit:eek: - they really get on and want to meet up when my mum visits on the weekend done
    • Do any surveys that come - got chucked out of loads yesterday none came
    • Read library book tonight in bed
    • Stay in tonight and watch the soaps - Eastenders and Emmerdale good at the moment and Corrie's hotting up! Sad I know but it keeps me off the streets! looking forward to it

Museum was quite good considering it was totally free! Had lunch there costing £5 but that was it spending wise.

Yes Milly! It's me, Jo - just changed my username (thank you MSE IT help!) as I was concerned that someone had tried to do something funny with my emails so I requested to change it....:( You are very observant!

I actually went on to the Diaries earlier and just searched through until I found you :) You have been through an awful lot in the last few months but you are so positive and doing so brilliantly! A really good friend of my Mum's has Crohns disease and went through a similar operation to you (quite a few years ago) and it was the absolute making of her - it improved things for her so much! It sounds like it's doing the same for you, Milly! :T
