Sorry:o, I know it's only July but I know how popular this is.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Thursday 16th September
The Christmas Grotto

Opens on Saturday 6th November 2010
A long-standing tradition at our Knightsbridge store, the Christmas Grotto offers a magical experience for the whole family.
Children and parents can meet Father Christmas and share their wish-list for the festive season. All children will leave with a gift and parents will have the opportunity to purchase a photo to remember the visit.

Grotto Opening Hours:

6th November - 9th December
10th December - 23rd December

Christmas Eve

Monday - Saturday 10.00 - 7.30
Monday - Saturday 10.00 - 8.00
Sunday - 12.00 - 5.30
10.00 - 3.30

Booking
Our new Christmas Grotto booking service enables you to reserve a specific time slot for your Grotto visit, so you shouldn’t have to wait for more than 40 minutes to see Father Christmas. Tickets will be available to book online from 16th September.* Please note that all adults and children require tickets to enter the Grotto. Tickets are free of charge with an administration fee of £5 per booking.
You must be a Harrods Rewards cardholder to book Grotto tickets. The £5 administration fee will be re-credited to your Rewards card if you attend your booked slot, and available to spend in Harrods at any time until Friday 31st December 2010 on the day you visit the Grotto. After Friday 31st December 2010, any remaining cash balance will expire and will not be reconverted into Harrods Rewards points. If you are not currently a Rewards cardholder, you can register for a Rewards card online by creating a harrods.com account, or sign-up in-store by visiting a Rewards Station.

Let's hope they do it better than last year's fiasco!:D

    It's wonderful!
This will be the 4th year (if I get tickets) i'll take my girls.
Yes, the children get a gift.
It's usually a book and it ties in with the theme that Harrods have for the grotto.
Last year they got a little hard back book of The Wizard of Oz, as that was the theme and a big chocolate coin. They also get a badge that is the same size as the coin.
Outside Harrods there was a huge pair of legs with ruby slippers at the end of them!
It looked like Harrods had landed on the Wicked witch!

I'd love to go (despite the fact that I'm 20 years old and have no kids!) is it okay for adults too? Or will I get weird looks haha
