I can't work out if every time they change the date is it a "new promotion"? Does anyone know if the barcode changes?

I don't know about the barcode, but seeing as the voucher itself isn't the same (ie different date) I don't see how they can say it's the same promotion.

Hi, why, if you buy Good Housekeeping, will it be a double whammy? I was planning to buy it anyway, but will I receive further points?

    Cheers.

No good housekeeping had about £7 of coupons in Oct issue assume that's what they meant!

I would like to know that too. ;) Also, will I get the extra points if I pay with a gift voucher, or will I have to pay 'real' money?

I know you still get the points if you use gift vouchers at Boots. I was wondering whether the same thing could be said about WH Smith point promotions. Has anyone tried this yet?

    Thanks :A

I've used both Book Tokens and WHSmith tokens and been credited with points for purchase and the bonus points.

    Rules State -
Only one voucher per Clubcard Customer will be honoured. Points may be deducted from a Clubcard account if more than one voucher is redeemed per promotion.

I've used each newly dated voucher and never had any problems.

Mind you, I've only used one for each date to keep within the rules. Multiple use/abuse not only runs the risk of an individual having points deducted but also carries the risk of WHSmith stopping these promotions and everyone missing out on a great deal.

The October issue of Good Housekeeping had a number of money-off coupons (about £6 worth) inside which are accepted at most Tescos for any purchase.

Thanks. I bought the September issue, but not October  And now it's the November issue that's out!

    Sorry, probably off-thread slightly... :p
    ;)
  • To all those asking about the barcodes for the voucher ending 14th October, it is the same code as the voucher ending 31st December. They are both 3208 0599

Thank you for the updated voucher.

I used the october 14th one on Saturday in a very small WHSmiths, a Times with a free DVD, Prima with the coupon booklet and Company (good value for £2 with a free Reveal mag, free Kinder Bueno and free seriosuly Oaty (and 20p coupon) and sample size of rimmel cool matte). The till guy was a student but he had no problems with the voucher and took £2.04 off my bill leaving me with only £3 odd to pay - excellent result!
