done main shop today, spent £78.46 which is a bit more than last week but I've bought wine and beer this time so hopefully no little trips to the local shops. Under my £85 weekly budget just need to not spend again now until next week. A good bargain at Mr Ts was the value wet wipes - usually 50p now 25p! They clean messy baby bums just as good as any of the expensive ones and now amazingly cheap.0

Tesco order just arrived, £65.53. Off to update siggy.
I'll get my other fresh veg and fruit in Aldi tomorrow, and that should be me for a good while.
Well done everyone, it's lovely to see all the tips and positivity.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Spent again today - to the tune of £11.70, including £3.30 on Whoopsies worth £13.15
Unforunately most of the Whoospie spends (£2.44 for goods worth £8.71) were treats we could have lived without
Going to have to live from my freezers as much as I can this month, otherwise I'll blow my budget again!! Luckily I have already meal planned 14 of the remaining 21 days, and have very little I'll need to buy apart from bread and milk....... and almost certainly ice-cream for DSCheryl0 -
I ran out of toothpaste for the first time EVER so as I had to go to Wilkinson's I ran in and got a tube at £1.98 which I thought, woohoo, 2p cheaper than Tesco's - only I then went next door to G & T's where they had the same tube for 99p . I bought that as well as it brings down the average and it's not like I'm not going to need toothpaste when this one runs out.
Unfortunately the way back to the car park was through Lidl, so I ended up buying 4 for £1 pepsi max plus apple juice (we did need some, to be fair) plus muffins and crumpets because the kids are home and need instant fix food otherwise they moan... that's my excuse.0 -
So far this month I've spent £49.40 including my first rubber chicken for ages!......0

Hi All,
I am looking for a little encouragement as i am trying to resist the lures of just going into a supermarket, i havent been in one since the 31st, and its a little like an addiction - i am even looking for reasons to go shopping for work... think its an addiction!
I don't need anything - thats my problem, i really dont, just taken milk out of the freezer and using crackers this week to use up some of the stash i have of those! i literally need nothing - but i want to go shopping! help!

What about making a graph of what you're saving, or a fantasy list of things you will buy with money saved, something like that?
Otherwise: hang in there, you're doing great! :A[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.
