iPhone 3GS & Samsung telly

Can I play my iphone music through my telly? I've conected them with the iphone USB but the telly says 'no device connected'. Is there something I can do to make it work or am I totally wrong? No idea!

No, the iPhone doesn't store music in the same way an mp3 player does. It's got an encrypted database, so you don't hack it...or something. So it won't show up.

Only thing I can think of is to use a home theatre kit - or, get some proper ipod speakers - they'll be better than your TV in all likelihood.

but I picked mine up on ebay for a fraction - works on my 3G iphone, for videos and youtube BUT I could not ghet it to display webpages ( so no iplayer), but that might be me!..
