About 2 weeks ago we noticed 3 small black patches on the carpet which got worse over a week we tried vanish etc thinking it was dd with her felt or paint but it seemed to make the mark worse. Now over 3 weeks its spread quite a bit and dh thinks its mould.
Its not furry just black marks in the carpet
If it is mold how can I remove it from the carpet?
Thinking about it DD spilt a whole cup of milk there about a month ago and dh said he wiped it up the best he could and from memory it did stay wet for a few days so am thinking this could be why its gone mouldy

I doubt your ever get rid of it. Mould on wood or hard surface areas can be cleansed with a thorough wipe down but mould on carpets and clothes and other soft materials is near impossible to get rid of. Best of replacing that patch if possible before it spreads too much.0
