I get them probably a few times a month and they are fine. Even me being a guy who will finish it off a day or two later and it still tastes nice.
Must be your tescos's or just a bad batch - or maybe to do with freezing it?
But the frozen tesco pizza's really are poor, so don't buy them!0 -
lynzpower wrote:I much prefer the ones that you get in the packets in the baking aisle. I dont have a breadmaker which is why i use these, but they are good. they are about 50p, add water knead for 5 mins leave under a warm teatowel for 10 mins top, bake scoff.
job done
They are the one's I use, lovely they are, the base bit is just right, I never eat the crusts so can't say. Leave sandwich crusts usually as well.
I don't have milk so no cheese on our pizza, they are still very nice.0 -
Linda, vegan mozarella and Scheese & Cheezly are milk free - you need not go without!

jcr16 wrote:i always use my BM to make my pizza bases. they are scrummy , so thick and soft. i have never bought shop bases but not sure i want to now.
I'm sure homemade is best but quite honestly i really don't have the time to home make everything. i don't have a bread maker either although i would like one i can't justify it as i think it'll just be something else that ends up in the cupboard to be given away at a later date! same for slow cookers. i would buy one if i can come up with enough recepies to cook in one but i end up with stew and erm.... stew?It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

My grandma used to do these for us about 17 years or so ago!!!!! we loved em:TIt is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Ken-Dodds-Hairy-Knodule wrote:Are those the Brown or White rice bases by Barkat? are they really that bad? I've also seen Ener-G ones, but they have some weird ingredients in their breads (and that little sachet of chemicals freaks me out, so don't buy their stuff).
Gluten free vegan pizza with mozarella scheese and cheezly melting mozarella sound good to me. I miss pizza ( not as much as I thought I would ) since cutting out gluten.
To the original poster - if you freeze bread it will crumble and be all dry & ming. Frozen Bread = Bad!! :-]
so basically i can't freeze pizzas and have em tast nice? The idea is to make them in advance ( and bulk). i reckon it's going to be cheaper to get them delivered!!!!:DIt is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

I was vegetarian for 16years before becoming vegan and being vegetarian was probably the most hypocritical time of my life. Dairy and egg farming is just as brutal as the meat industry (and helps to support it too) so good on you.
