I flippin well wish i could claim back my charges
I have £2000+ with my old bank, but because they are part of my DMP, I've been advised not to rock the boat and make em mad :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Cant remember who, to be honest.
I know it's been discussed quite a few times on here though.
Do you think I should have a go then?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Well - one of my creditors is royal bank of scotland and i owe them £4380 but because of their constant charges etc. im over my overdraft limit thus incurring MORE charges..........so im definatley gonna be trying to get this down by reclaiming my charges off them - a rough guess id say theyve had about £1500 off me and that would take a hugh chunk off the debt with them....
i would seriously think about giving it a go - wat have you got to lose?Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -
I'm not the smartest bear in the woods tho......is it difficult to do?

Be honest now Dotty !!no spud - honest - i got my capital one charges back after only 2 letters.......i know its not always that easy and sometimes you have to go as far as making a court claim but everyone who has done so seems to have been successful...............must be worth a try?

Right, something else for me to get my head round then
Working an extra shift today (job number 3, only casual, as and when I'm needed, but every little helps) so will try and have a look where to start when I get home tonight.
Thanks Dotty :beer:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

no probs spud - btw - hows the CCCS thing going? Ive heard that Capial One (hubbys accouns as mine now all gone!!) arent accepting the payment - tough titty i say coz im in the process of trying to get my pennies back that theyve stolen in excessive charges so well all have to see what the balance is once theyve stumped thos up wont we??

It's not going too bad, Dotty
Had a letter recently re our overdraft. The bank have obviously had the CCCS letter so they've reduced our overdraft by £850. If we dont bring the balance down to under the new limit, we will be charged unauthorised overdraft fees of nearly 30%apr
We have just increased our monthly CCCS payment from £35 per month to £119 which has knocked quite a few years of our DFD :T
Getting there slowly but surelyIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
