Just exchanged!!

Just posting to say I exchanged today! Some of you may know or may not know that I was about one week from exchanging on another house about 3 months ago when they pulled out (wanting an extra 15%) so the last week or two have been tense.

Add to that I signed the contract and handed over the deposit 11 days ago and this vendor then started to make weird noises   to finally exchange is a huge relief.

Anyways.. good luck to everyone else in the process of buying a place.. it truly is a *"*£$* of an experience to go through when it is a sellers market  (My last place it was a buyers market.. which seemed like a breeze!!)

  • You lucky thing. I have just got the survey back and waiting for the exchange, I am scared to death they will pull out and decide they want more. I can't wait to be in your shoes you must be so relieved :)
  • I am so pleased for you!!
We have been in a chain since March and still having problems with people pulling out of purchases, have this feeling it will all collapse tomorrow and we have to go back on the market and start looking again. Not enjoying it one bit and probably will never do it again.
    Enjoy packing!!!
