Do you have the installation disks and registration key for 2003?

If you have the install disks, then delete Office from your PC(*) and install on laptop.

(*) It's easy to forget this stage

I think you're confusing Windows and Office. The sticker on your desktop is most likely for Windows, although I doubt you have a version 2003 as it only exists as a server version.

Can you check again for what product the key is? It's written in bold above the key itself. If there is none for Office, then you should have it with all the CD's and manuals which came with the PC. If you don't have it, then it might not be a legal version...
  • Hi,

when I got this lappy I installed Open Office, and it works fine with my Office 2003 documents which I transferred from PC, so you could maybe think of Open Office, it's free.
