Last year after I was made redundant my Husband I I applied for tax credits.
We supplied all our income details for the previous 12 month period which as I had been working came to approx £31,000. I told them I was currently receiving JSA and they awarded us £4,300 in tax credits.
In October I stopped receiving JSA and retired and now receive my state pension with no other income and husband still works.
We have just renewed our claim, combined earnings this year were only £19,000 and they have awarded us nothing and said we have an overpayment of all the money!!! £4,300!!!!!!!

Did you inform them you'd stopped claiming jsa and started receiving a pension?0

It was JSA Contributions Based, obviously. That doesnt count as a benefit, rather an income, so it should never have been on your claim. The responsibility im afraid falls with you, as it would have shown on your award notices as CB, and you needed to inform them this was wrong and it should be IB. Small thing to notice i know, but thats what theyll say0
