Kids aged 19 College course get £30 a week

Please be aware that any 19yr can claim £30 a week for doing a college course, but apply for it for the new college year starting in Sept, then they will get £30 a week for the whole course, It does not go against the parents income it goes against the the person claiming it, you must get good attendance from the college to gain this

This is neither strictly accurate nor new. ALG as been around for about 8 years and is for full time students studying their first full level 2 or 3 course. It is also available to students of any age, not just 19 year olds.0
