Advice re a double/tandem buggy please!

We've got a 16month gap between our two and after looking at lots of shops with money being available (due to eventual resale value), but not unlimited, we went for a secondhand Emmaljunga pram with toddler seat (see http://www.kiddy-co.co.uk/acatalog/emmaljunga_baby_accessories.html for picture of toddler seat and the pram is a bit like the pram under the rain cover on the same page). It is excellent, apart from even when folded up it takes up the entire car boot and it quite heavy to carry (but not heavy to push). The eldest has a great view - she looks a bit precarious at first, but it really is very safe. The youngest is very comfy laying down and I think it can sit up, but he is not quite old enough for that yet. All for a bargain ebay price of £80 and will be able to be sold for that when finished with. I think they were ££££ when new (all the other emmajunga are) and it is excellent quality. It is no bigger than a largish pushchair, so can still go through doors etc unlike some of the monster double buggys we looked at.

I do love it, but it's starting to get heavy with my twins now they're 1. Will last them a bit longer, isn't the most manouverable one though it was the only one I could fit in my sceicento. My other prams are all side by side ones, but I fancy something like a jane powertwin now.
