Santander First Home Saver - payment to...?

Hi,
Appreciate this is a question for Santander themselves but not wishing to spend more time on the phone to them or plan a visit to the branch...
I have just opened a first Home Saver with them and have set up my standing order to them from my HSBC account.
I have used the Account Number and Sort Code they gave me plus my Reference number. BUT what should I enter for "Payee"? I am paying myself so do I put my name... but then I am sending to a generic Santander account and the unique Reference number diverts the money to me, so should I put "Santander" as the Payee? Does it actually matter?
Many thanks, hope the above makes sense!
Mike

It doesn't really matter, but seeing as it's your account, I would put your name. As I'm sure you already know the most important parts are the sort code, account number and reference. The payee rarely effects the processing of transfers.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0
