Hi, I am one of the owners of House Price Spy, found this post as a number of people clicked on it so showed in our logs.
All our data is bought and paid for from Land Registry and Registers of Scotland (we also pay Royal Mail loads of money but that's another thing) .. anyway I am interested to hear that your relatives house had the wrong sold year so that being the case I would love if you could email me via the site and let me know what house it is as I like to speak to the Land Registry about this as they charged us Thousands of pounds for this data so they had better be doing it correctespecially as they just hiked the prices on us by 400%, must be great being the only people that can sell companies the data they need to be in business, charge them what you like then

Well of course you don't need to use our site as pointed out we are not the only ones that offer this service, but I like to think we are or will be offering the very best service of this type around with no restrictions on number of searches. But if you’re worried about joining use Hotmail or Yahoo we don't care. The service is fully free, and we plan to make money from adverts on the site and every month when we send you free email of houses that sold in your target postcodes we will have an advert in that, this is how we fund the site and make it free for you to use. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Best Wishes,

I've seen that 'sort of thing too' and I would suspect that a remortgage has taken place. It happened when my friend and her husband split up and one bought the house from the other......... just an observation......0 -

Hi, no problem at all. I been online long enough and I run a load of websites some I suspect you might have come across at one point or another so I have enough respect not to fill other peoples forums up with junk advertisements as like you said in your other post that would have just shot me in the foot and had the post removed and I very happy you posted it up as gives us that little bit more exposure on a project that cost us so much money we have nothing left to actually promote it LOLThe joys of over budget projects
And you opened up a debate now about the other websites that offer this type of data, some free and some not, some covering England, Scotland and Wales and some just covering Scotland or just England and Wales. I hope if people spend a bit of time comparing each on offer that they see we are at least as good as if not slight better in some areas. And if we not I want to know as being told where your going wrong helps you to fix and improve the service so people actually go, hey you know that site, that's a bit of alright that is
Best Wishes
